A Verb in a sentence is a word that denotes an action or a state of being for an entity.
Action Verb denotes an action of an entity in a sentence. It includes any kind of action like running, walking, reading, writing, sleeping, crying, resting, etc. The Action Verbs simply imply an action to any entity, living or non-living. An Action Verb also called a Dynamic Verb describes an action in which the subject of a sentence performs like (I jump, I shout).
Following are some Examples with Action Verbs:-
Helping Verbs are mainly of two types Primary Auxiliary Verbs and Modal Auxiliary Verbs.
Helping Verbs always help the Action Verbs express an action or its state.
The Helping Verbs are always placed before the Action Verb.

These types of verbs construct simple sentences. The Linking Verbs is not the action verb and it describes the subject by connecting it to a predicate adjective or predicate noun. These Verbs are forms of the verb infinitive such as is, am, are, and were. It should be remembered that these verbs are also used as Helping Verbs but depending on the pattern of a sentence it is considered as Linking Verb. Linking Verbs also are linked to the five senses, such as taste, smell, and feel but Linking Verbs are not Action Verbs.

When the Affirmative sentences are to be changed to Negative, Interrogative, and Negative Interrogative then we have to use the Helping Verbs of the sentences like (am, is, are, has, have, has been, have been) for Present Tense format and (was, were, had, had been) for Past Tense format and (shall, will, shall be, will be, shall have, will have, shall have been, will have been) for Future Tense format.
If an Affirmative sentence is to be changed to a Negative sentence then Not is followed after the Helping Verbs of the sentence like (am not, was not, shall not, etc), but in some tenses format Not will be placed between the Helping Verbs of the sentence like (has not been, had not been, etc).
If an Affirmative sentence is to be changed to an Interrogative sentence then the sentence starts with the Helping Verbs of the sentence and is followed by the Subjects like (are you, were they, will we, have I, etc).
If an Affirmative sentence is to be changed to a Negative Interrogative sentence then the sentence starts with the Helping Verbs of the sentence and is followed by the Subjects and Not like (am I not, was she not, shall I not, had she not, etc).
In Present Perfect Continuous sentences, Past Perfect Continuous sentences, and Future Perfect Continuous sentences, the Subjects and Not are placed between Helping Verbs of the sentence like (has she been, had you not been, Will we have not been, etc).
Note:- Do and Does are used in the Simple Present Tense format for Negative and Interrogative sentences where the Helping Verbs of the sentence are not present in Affirmative sentences like (I play, I do not play, Do I play), (she studies, she does not study, does she study).
Did is used in the Simple Past Tense format for Negative and Interrogative sentences where the Helping Verbs of the sentence are not present in Affirmative sentences like (we went, we did not go, Did we go).

However, there are two important differences between (used to) and (would). The first difference is that (would) should not be used unless it has already been established that the time frame is in the past, while (used to) does not require this. This example, with used to at the beginning, sounds natural:-
However, when (used to) is replaced with (would), the same example becomes awkward and grammatically wrong:-
But if the past time frame is established before (would) appears, (would) sounds fine:-
The second difference between (used to) and (would) is that (would) is not used with stative verbs such as love, be, understand, and feel:-
